Jessica Altman instructs the following:

  • Flow-based Hatha Yoga links the postures practiced in a regular Hatha class into a sequence of movements that "flow" with the breath in a more vigorous series. Flow-based Hatha Yoga or Vinyasa involves moving from one posture to another with very little rest in between and creates a strong cardiovascular workout.

  • Classic Yoga (Hatha)
  • Classically a slower moving practice, but it can be challenging, stimulating or gentle depending on who attends class. The integration of breath while holding poses for long periods of time with intention and relaxation comprise this branch of practice that encompasses and integrates many styles of yoga. Beginner friendly.
